I started knitting in the fall of 2016 because we had just moved to a new city and well, I knew no one. I had convinced myself that I would only arm knit, nothing else. Small needles were just TOO small and I certainly didn't have the time or patience for knitting a pair of socks or a sweater. Enter YouTube, the friend I never knew I needed. Thus, my knitting adventure began in earnest.
Soon, I started knitting extreme blankets with 40mm needles, then cowls with 25mm needles and before I knew it I was knitting hats, sweaters and socks. I had finally found my calling and well, the call was to knit in all scales and dye yarn in small batches. Contrary to popular belief, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
When I'm not knitting, I'm with my family, working at our local yarn shop, practicing yoga or watching Gilmore Girls on repeat.. I pride myself of my hilarious wit and sense of humour even if I only make myself laugh.
